Setting up a service

When you have decided on what service provider you want to use to deliver your supports, either in your own home, community or before you move into an aged care home, there are a few things to organise when setting up a new service.

Your provider will take you through the process of setting up a care plan and writing up a home care or resident agreement. This will cover details about the services you will receive, any fees and charges and the rights and responsibilities of you and the provider.

It's important you understand these documents and ask any questions if you have them.
