Choosing an aged care provider

There are a number of things to consider when choosing a provider for your home care or aged care needs, including the services they offer, quality of care and any cost involved.

Before deciding who to use it's important to do your research and talk to a number of different providers to understand what services they offer and which one will best meet your needs and requirements.

Make a list of what you are looking for in a provider. Think about personal preferences such as level of care or lifestyle, if you have any special needs that should be catered for and if possible meet with your provider in person or go on a facility tour.

Don't be rushed into making a decision and make sure you feel comfortable with the provider you end up with and confident that they will be able to deliver the services you need.
