Kal'ang Respite Care Centre Aboriginal Corporation is a non-for-profit organisation that provides Home Care Services to the Indigenous and non-Indigenous elderly of the Fraser Coast who are approved for Level 1 to 4 Home Care Packages.  Services include home cleaning, lawn maintenance, day respite, cultural & social support, assistance with shopping and transport to and from appointments. mon-fri 730am 330pm  

Our experienced staff live locally, understand your community and have knowledge of local services. Friendly, professional staff will work with you to help you determine the best level of care to suit your individual needs. We will assist by coordinating your choice of care and services which are to be delivered to you, in your own home. We will monitor your health and wellbeing and consult with you as your care needs change. We will respond to all your enquiries or concerns confidentially, efficiently and professionally. We will connect you to relevant programs and services in your local area. We explain & assist with monitoring your home care budget. We are guided and directed by you and we will assist your decision making as your needs change. Services and support which may be available: Personal: Bathing, showering, dressing, toileting, mobility and transfers. Dietary: Preparing meals, special feeding utensils, enteral feeding formula and equipment. Skin: Bandages, dressings, creams etc. Mobility: Crutches, wheelchairs, walking frames, walking sticks, lifting machines, bed rails, pressure mattresses, assistance with this equipment. Toileting: Disposable pads, commode chairs, bedpans or urinals, catheters or other urinary aides, enemas. Support: Cleaning, gardening, medical management, rehabilitation, 24 hour on-call support, transport for shopping, social and medical appointments, home maintenance, arranging social activities. Clinical: Nursing, podiatry, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, speech therapy, hearing and vision services, including other relevant referrals.
