Better Home Living provides assistance to older people in their own homes with the following services: Home Help - light cleaning and housekeeping. Personal Care - assistance with showering, dressing and grooming. Meals - in home meal preparation. Shopping. Respite Care - to provide a break for family/partners/primary Carers. Our South East Metro Service is based in Malvern and provides in-home nursing and care throughout Melbourne's southern and eastern suburbs. mecwacare supports clients of all ages and abilities, including older people, those with illnesses such as multiple sclerosis or dementia, and healthy people with an acquired brain injury or an intellectual disability. We support our clients to remain in their own homes for as long as they wish. Our carers are client focused and are expected to provide choice and empowerment to our individual client's needs at all times.Policy and ProceduresCompliance with Occupational Health and Safety Regulation and the Privacy Act is of paramount significance at Help in the Home.   We are approved to provide Aged Care Packages through My Aged Care. We have commenced this program and it will be a major focus in the next 18 months. Help in the Home signs Service Level Agreements with Aged Care Providers to ensure all requirements and obligations relating to care are met.  Help in the Home has SAI Global Certification.
