Our Residential Care Home at Stirling is located in the suburb of Stirling, Stirling, Weston Creek, surrounded by schools and sports playing ovals and just 15 minutes’ drive from Canberra’s CBD.
Fully accredited, our home is designed on two levels with air-conditioned common areas, arts and crafts room, and library with internet access and a hair salon. There are beautiful landscaped gardens, a decked terrace, courtyard with BBQ and walking trail outdoors.

My wife spent almost 5 years at this facility with increasing dementia issues. This was during deteriorating funding issues which led to the Aged Care Royal Commission, then the extraordinary demands of Covid.
Of course, there were times when things were not perfect but I am in awe of how well the staff coped and their responsiveness to any issues raised.
Not many people like the idea of needing nursing home care but, if needed, my experience of the management & staff at Warrigal Stirling suggests that this facility is very well worth considering.
