Overview

UNITED's Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme aims to mobilise volunteers to provide culturally and linguistically appropriate friendship and companionship to Spanish speaking elders who are at risk of social isolation or loneliness.

Our volunteers can visit you at your own home or in a residential care facility. Our volunteers will visit at a regular time every week or fortnight for a chat, a cup of tea, play a board game, have a short walk or to join you in any of your favourite activities.
