Sandy Boyd Aged Care Hostel is a place for elders to live and be looked after on Palm Island. Elders living at Sandy Boyd have low care needs and just need help with activities of daily living. Most residents living at Sandy Boyd Aged Care can walk or move about independently, but sometimes they need a more help with activities such as showering, dressing and may need aids like wheelchairs or 4-wheel walkers to move about. Full time residential care or Respite care available.
Sandy Boyd is funded as an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Flexible Aged Care Service.
