No referral is required to join a Uniting AgeWell retirement living community. For some independent living complexes, an entry contribution is required. This contribution is held in trust for the resident during their stay. It is refunded when they leave, with a small amount retained by the facility.
Uniting AgeWell maintains the buildings and communal gardens of all its independent living options on behalf of residents.Uniting AgeWell may also provide support at home services such as domestic assistance and personal care. These additional services are available on a fee-for-service basis or through the Federal Government-subsidised Support at Home program.

AccommodationDonwood has a total of 105 beds, comprising of single rooms with their own ensuites . All single rooms are spacious, light filled, with an outlook to gardens or decked areas. As part of our 105 beds we have a 30 bed memory support unit where residents have access to large open areas and gardens. We have many lounge areas around the facility for residents and families comfort. Our new administration area houses a café and large function room for residents and visitors enjoyment.Community CentreThe Donwood Community Centre is designed for individuals who live at home by themselves or with a carer(s), but would like to participate in outside activities.
