Team Structure
Our team consists of clinical staff and specialists including registered nurses, endorsed enrolled nurses and personal care assistants available on-call, 24-hours a day. A social care team deals with activities and therapy. Team members are passionate, caring and friendly and go above and beyond to build a genuine rapport with residents and their families.

With attention to the complete health and wellbeing of our residents, the services we offer combine specialist care with quality of life. Beyond our standard care offerings, further services accommodate specific needs of residents such as providing a sewing space for residents who love to sew, or an an art space for a resident artist.
Dedicated specialist services such as physiotherapists, podiatrists, speech pathologists and dietitians are included in the accommodation costs. Optometrists and hearing specialists make frequent visits.
A fully functioning hairdressing salon is available on-site for residents’ use. Appointments can be made directly with the hairdressers.
Food & Diet
Our chefs ensure that healthy and balanced meal choices are always available and prepared on-site, 7 days a week. Meals can also be tailored to fit any dietary requirements. The menu is rotated seasonally and fresh food arrives throughout the week.Activities & Excursions
Various activities are held daily in the Village Hall, auditorium and lounge rooms, including: art therapy, indoor bowls, memory/word games, pampering, gentle exercises, Tai Chi, card games and bingo. The cafe is held every Wednesday afternoon, there is a weekly shopping trolley and happy hours. Leisure and lifestyle staff arrange outings for meals and events. A workshop group is hosted every week in a fully equipped workshop and there are vegetable gardens for residents with a green thumb.
Set in the leafy streets of Dandenong Road, Margriet Village is located in Kilsyth, close to the shopping area and yet still in a position surrounded by bushland and the soft sounds of nature.
Our independent living units have been built to provide safe, affordable, attractive accommodation. The village reflect characteristics of a typical Dutch town or ‘dorp’. It offers a safe and secure environment where a resident can choose a private lifestyle or enjoy the benefits of friendship, support and shared interests within a community of like-minded individuals.
This peaceful cottage style village consists of 14 one bedroom units located next to Overbeek Lodge aged care home. There is a beautiful garden in the centre of the village. Each unit has a spacious living and dining area, kitchen, built in robes, bathroom, separate toilet and laundry. Each unit has its own garden and car park. Bus services operate from the entrance of the village to local shopping centres and Croydon railway station.
The café at Overbeek Lodge provides a great opportunity to enjoy the company of friends and families. Activities and events are organised by residents and volunteers in the community halls. You could also join our volunteering program which provides a fantastic opportunity to keep locals connected in the community.
Should your needs change, MiCare provide community care services that will further assist you to stay longer and healthier in your unit. Services include personal care, laundry services, nursing assistance, case management, home maintenance, garden maintenance, aged care planning and meal delivery.
