Para Hills Residential Care

Para Hills Residential Care was established in 1983 and is a family owned single home located in the northern metropolitan area, 18 kilometres from the Adelaide CBD.

We are situated close to the Para Hills Community and Bowling Clubs, the Lyell McEwin Hospital and Modbury Hospital.

The home was extended in 2016 to meet the highest standards and provide large, bright, private rooms with ensuite. There are also companion rooms, equally cheerful and airy.

In our new wing there are spacious rooms, with large windows, allowing for plenty of natural light. These rooms are equipped with:

• Large ensuite;
• Individual climate control;
• Large wardrobes and storage.

Para Hills Residential Care is dedicated to providing holistic individualised care to all of our residents. We pride ourselves on providing a happy, friendly, safe homelike environment for staff and residents. Our Lifestyle team provides individual and group programs tailored to each resident who are encouraged to remain a part of the wider community.

Our services include:

Physiotherapy Services
This includes a dedicated team of Physiotherapists and Physio Assistants, who provide 1 to 1 pain management treatments, and exercise classes twice weekly.

Nursing, Clinical and Allied Health Teams
These include:

• A Registered Nurse 24 hours per day
• A team of qualified personal care workers
• Dietetics Services
• Speech Pathology Services
• Podiatry Services
• Continence Nurse Adviser
• Aroma Clinician.

Our external large garden areas have wide footpaths making access easier for residents with reduced mobility.
