Benetas Bridgewater Lake features five spacious households, each tastefully appointed with quality furnishings and an impressive collection of artwork. Every household offers its own dedicated dining room, lounge, and sitting areas, along with peaceful reading corners, sunny nooks, and intimate spaces for relaxation. Our private resident rooms, each with an ensuite, are designed to provide comfort, security, and privacy. Many rooms overlook our beautifully maintained gardens and come equipped with remote controlled televisions. Residents also enjoy a range of onsite amenities, including a café, physiotherapy services, hairdressing, visiting beautician, optometry and podiatry, regular exercise classes, and a vibrant leisure and lifestyle program.

The owner / director trained as a doctor through Melbourne University then worked at the Austin Hospital in Heidelberg. We do not necessarily require accommodation bonds (RADs) and you don't have to sell your home. We welcome applicants who have little to no assets.Care Services We offer Respite Care, Day Care, Ageing in Place (Low to High Care, Dementia Care), Palliative Care.Registered Nurse Division 1 onsite 24/7 with a generous level of staffing. We already exceed the Royal Commission's target level of care minutes which takes effect in Oct 2023.Many of our staff have been with us for greater than 5 years. We embrace the use of technology to help deliver the best care possible - from using electronic systems to do most of our documentation to administering medications to dementia friendly robotic pets. We rapid test all staff at least every 48 hrs and provide enhanced PPE (P2/N95 masks) to all who enter. We comply with vaccination requirements for staff.  Accommodation We offer a range of rooms : contemporary spacious single rooms with private ensuite and some with interconnecting doors between adjacent rooms for couples. Many of the rooms look out onto our beautifully landscaped courtyards, the hustle and bustle of Plenty Rd or the adjacent garden nursery.All rooms have the latest nurse call system, ample secure storage for personal belongings as well as the option of a private telephone. Foxtel is available in some wings as well as RAI (Italian) TV throughout the facility. Movie screening in our cinema room. Spacious courtyards with fountains, ponds, barbecue facilities, vegetable gardens and fruit trees (for residents who have a green thumb).A chapel is available for prayer and religious services. MealsDelicious meals are freshly cooked on site by our talented chefs. The menu offers a full range of different cuisines and is created in consultation with our residents and dietician. We are able to cater for various needs including residents with diabetes or those who require vitamised meals.Lifestyle and Leisure Bethel has a team of lifestyle and activities staff who work to tailor a lifestyle program for each resident to keep them engaged and connected with loved ones and the wider community.We provide a mix of virtual and onsite programs in a Covid safe manner in accordance with restrictions. HairdressingAvailable to all residents, we have a dedicated purpose-built Hairdressing Salon staffed by a visiting hairdresser, where residents can continue to experience the pleasure of a visit to the hairdresser and look their Sunday best.
