The Bill Crawford building is spacious and colourful. It has an open plan design with light filled atriums in each wing. The secure external area is also designed to permit residents to walk freely and safely. The therapy program is extensive and provides Montessori based activities. A specialised Snoezelen room (sensory stimulus room) is available for use by all residents. A range of allied health services including dietetics and speech pathology is provided. The facility’s extensive activities schedule includes a popular woodwork program that is available to all residents. Sunnyside House is a community-owned, not-for-profit, Residential Aged Care Facility located in Camperdown Victoria. With beautifully kept gardens, a view over Camperdown to the lakes, a bowls green, an aviary and a cat named Aussie, Sunnyside House is a lovely place to live.
