Nestled at the end of Killara Road, Sunshine, Hope Aged Care Sunshine provides high level care nursing to 65 residents. Rooms are available in single or double configurations with ensuites. There are three lounge rooms, dining room and a large function room which is available for private family gatherings, meetings and spiritual worship. Outside we have five courtyards. A diverse range of nursing staff speak a variety of languages in addition to English, including Lebanese, Chinese, Greek and Turkish. A comprehensive range of services is offered to residents. In addition to providing services from within our facility, access to a wide range of services operating within the wider local community is also available. The following services are offered to residents: Care Planning: Every month an evaluation is made to see if any changes to the care plan are required Medical Care Physiotherapy Dietitian: A dietitian visits the facility on a regular basis and reviews the nutritional needs of residents Podiatry Optometrist Leisure & Interests, individual and group activities Dental Services: There is a free dental services provided by the dental hospital Hairdresser, visits weekly Clothing & Laundry: A full laundry services operates at no additional cost Meals: A four-week rotating menu provides a variety of meals and refreshments. With such large bedrooms, couples can comfortably continue to live together, and larger home furniture pieces can be brought in – for example, you can continue to enjoy family meals over your own dining table or fit a chest of drawers for your clothes of all seasons.

Independent Living UnitsKalyna Care has a retirement village comprising ten self contained one or two-bedroom units. They are let on a bond based on market value of the unit at the time of occupancy. A waiting list for entry into the village is maintained.
