All single rooms with ensuites.  Team Structure Our team consists of clinical staff and specialists including registered nurses and personal care assistants available on-call, 24 hours a day. A care manager is in throughout the week and oversees care on the floor. Admin staff handle reception duties, while a social care team deals with activities and therapy. Students on school-based apprenticeships are also present at various times. Team members are passionate, caring and friendly and go above and beyond to build a genuine rapport with residents. Aside from the three main meals, morning and afternoon tea is also served, with snacks available. Live entertainers come on a regular basis, as do school groups. Three outdoor courtyard areas open to garden spaces where residents can grow their own veggies and herbs. Located about 90kms from the Respect Cohuna site. Alcheringa is a modern facility built just a decade ago.  Room Options 75 beds (30 secure dementia units) Some single rooms have shared ensuites. One respite bed can be booked. Two main ends – Sunnyside Lodge and Honeybee Lodge. The first is general housing that is divided into three wings.
