Menarock Life Salisbury House is a 60 bed accredited aged care facility nestled amongst the peaceful surrounds of beautiful Upper Beaconsfield in the Dandenong Ranges. Menarock Life Salisbury House (circa 1888) is one of the original landmark buildings in the area and was built as a guest house and health resort for travellers, town-dwellers and international guests.
The area was renowned for its clean, healthy air. Today it has been brought back to its original grandeur, but we are now only a short 45 minute drive from the CBD via the Monash Freeway and an easy 10 minute drive from the rapidly expanding south eastern suburbs of Berwick, Narre Warren, Pakenham and the hills areas of Cockatoo and Emerald.
Menarock Life Salisbury House offers both single and double rooms, all with views over our mature gardens or courtyards which abound with native birds, and views over the distant bay. Each bedroom has built in robes, hydronic heating, ceiling fans, telephone and television outlets and emergency call system, and some have fully appointed ensuites. All bedrooms are serviced daily with linen provided.
Our carefully selected staff are dedicated professionals who are fully qualified to meet the residents’ personal care needs. They are trained to deliver the best service with qualified personal care, 24 hours a day, every day, with a special understanding of the needs of the aged.
An integral part of our care is to develop individual care plans which provide a holistic team approach. The care plans are regularly reviewed to meet the needs of each resident assisting in the care of the resident’s mental, spiritual and physical well being, giving our carers a sense of achievement and satisfaction.
Residents are offered a homelike environment. They may choose to participate in the activities provided, read or relax in the library or retire to their room. Families and friends are always welcome and are invited to visit at their convenience. For the safety of all residents, a security system operated by a keypad is fitted to each external door. Residents are encouraged as far as possible to maintain their independence, social and personal interests. Choice of medical practitioner or specialist is encouraged. Medication, nutrition, dietary and personal care needs are carefully supervised.
