Lynden Aged Care is an Incorporated Association and is owned and operated by its members. Board members are generally people who have had a relative living at Lynden and so are committed to ensuring that Lynden continues to be financially viable and highly reputable.
Our facility, comprising high/low level care and extra services, sits quietly off a small suburban street in Camberwell and underwent a significant rebuilding program that was completed in early 2018. Furniture, fittings and the architecture reflect a spacious, contemporary, bright and comfortable home.
We are surrounded by gardens and parkland and the residents enjoy beautiful views from every window. All rooms are single rooms and the majority of them have their own private shower and toilet. Residents are encouraged to furnish and decorate their own rooms which are large enough for personal belongings to be displayed.
All meals are cooked on site in a new modern kitchen and laundry staff ensure that clothes are washed and returned back to each residents room on a daily basis.
The fully licensed café is open seven days a week and is available for functions, small gatherings or for just a quiet cup of coffee.
Our ILUs provide an option for those who are not ready for permanent care but want the security of knowing that support is available at all times.
