Two main ends – Sunnyside Lodge and Honeybee Lodge. The first is general housing that is divided into three wings. The second, contains the secure dementia units.
Team Structure
Our team consists of clinical staff and specialists including registered nurses and personal care assistants available on-call, 24 hours a day. A social care team deals with activities and therapy. Team members are passionate, caring and friendly and go above and beyond to build a genuine rapport with residents.

Healthy and balanced meal choices are prepared by a full-time chef throughout the week. On weekends, supporting chefs continue to prepare meals on-site. A variety of meals cater to resident’s preferences and dietary requirements, with Alcheringa having a distinct Mediterranean flair. The menu is updated twice a year, with a summer and winter menu, and fresh food arrives throughout the week.

Entertainment is coordinated by the leisure and lifestyle team who look after events and activities that are planned over a social calendar. Our proximity to the city centre means we’re quite involved in the community. Trips to nearby points of interest including art galleries are convenient with dedicated bus and vehicle options.

Church services are conducted weekly in the Quiet room located in the east end of the building. Dunmunkle Lodge is an ageing in place Residential Aged Care facility located in the quiet Wimmera township of Minyip. The Lodge boasts 38 rooms comprising 18 rooms with shared ensuites, 18 with private ensuite and one double bedroom. A funded respite bed also adds to the appeal of Dunmunkle Lodge and services the need to care for the carer in the community.
