James Grimes Care Centre has long been the heartbeat of the Nambour community and has recently undergone a million-dollar internal refurbishment. The spacious, sub-tropical site offers 60 places (single rooms), including 24/7 residential care and a specialist Memory Support Unit, which has been designed for care recipients living with dementia, an emotional illness or a cognitive impairment. THE FACILITYLocated in Cooroy, our 86 bed residence offers a range of support and care services to help make the transition from independent to assisted living easier. Each residential room has a private ensuite bathroom and garden area plus spacious communal living areas for socialising. Our buildings are air conditioned and centrally heated for the comfort of residents. This facility is adapted to suit requirements and maintain a continuum of quality care. FULL TIME PROFESSIONALS Our recruitment and continuous learning ensures that we maintain an enviable level of care. We manage the health and well-being of our residents through on site visit by treating physicians and allied health professionals as required.
