A Physiotherapist offers assistance and education to residents, staff and families. Our Activities Coordinator and Assistants offer a varied program suited to the abilities and interests of residents. Level of care you require Westgate Aged Care Facility offers a high level of care. To be eligible for admission, it is important to make an appointment to view the facility and meet with the Director of Nursing/Manager. You will need to have an assessment from the Aged Care Assessment Service. Fees and charges The fees & charges are set by the Commonwealth Government. Daily care fees and any accommodation charges depend on your pension status, and are all determined by the Department of Social Services. An additional income test may be required of some residents. Located in Altona North, Squires Place, provides accommodation for 60 residents in fresh, light-filled private rooms - all with ensuite bathrooms and built-in robes. Nestled at the end of Killara Road, Sunshine, Hope Aged Care Sunshine provides high level care nursing to 65 residents. Rooms are available in single or double configurations with ensuites. There are three lounge rooms, dining room and a large function room which is available for private family gatherings, meetings and spiritual worship. Outside we have five courtyards. A diverse range of nursing staff speak a variety of languages in addition to English, including Lebanese, Chinese, Greek and Turkish. A comprehensive range of services is offered to residents. In addition to providing services from within our facility, access to a wide range of services operating within the wider local community is also available.
