Westgate is a fully accredited 90 bed facility offering nursing care and accommodation to the frail aged, and has been a proud part of the Newport community since 1981. You will need to have an assessment from the Aged Care Assessment Service. Fees and charges The fees & charges are set by the Commonwealth Government. Daily care fees and any accommodation charges depend on your pension status, and are all determined by the Department of Social Services. An additional income test may be required of some residents.
