Who can come to these groups?

We cater for Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) seniors who are over the age of 65. People under 65 are also welcome.

Our warm and welcoming multicultural social support group will encourage participants to feel empowered and connected to the community. This will enhance their quality of life, maintain and improve their independence and to continue to live in the community with pride.

Most of our staff and volunteers can speak a second language other than English, and understand the cultural needs of the participants. We also look at the strength of each person and adopt a person center approach in running activities in the group.

• Music and Story Telling

• Board Games

• Crafts

• Outings and Excursions

• Celebrations of culturally significant events

Transport

Transport assistance is available to attend the program.

A small fee will be charged and fee reduction is available for anyone with financial difficulties
