Overview

Established in 1987, MannaCare Home Maintenance Service aims to assist older people residing in the municipality of Manningham by providing advice and assistance with home and short term garden maintenance to help people maintain a safe and healthy environment.

It is funded by the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP). CHSP eligibility criteria and fee assessment applies.

People can contact the Home Maintenance Service directly to arrange for help. Typical services are the provision and installation of hand rails, access ramps and steps; cleaning of windows; changing light globes, tap washers and smoke detector batteries; shower hardware modifications and minor carpentry. In addition to these services an Occupational Therapist assessment, spring cleaning and short term gardening services can be arranged.
