Opened in 1999 and extended in 2005, Doncaster Melaleuca Lodge (“the Lodge”) provides ageing in place accommodation for 60 residents.
Respite care places are also available. The facility aims to provide a home for those no longer able to remain living privately in the community due to their care needs and is committed to supporting the ongoing involvement of family members and friends.
The Lodge offers a quiet and peaceful environment surrounded by landscaped gardens and a walking path.
Features include two dining rooms, a number of large and small lounges, views across to the northern ranges and a large kitchen which provides freshly cooked meals each day.
The Lodge is a modern single level facility. Residents are accommodated in good sized single rooms with private ensuites.
Most rooms have a rear door opening to a small garden or courtyard area.
