UNITED is a not for profit organisation that has been providing community services for the past 40 years. We are a Home Care Packages Service Provider with the aim to help you live independently in your own home for as long as you can. The Program provides a subsidy towards a package of care, services and case management to meet your personal needs. We also provide Volunteer Visiting Programs, Social Activity Groups for seniors and all our services can be provided both in English and Spanish.  .

 We provide home-based care, dementia-specific care and community visiting program.We provide group social support, individual support and transport for seniors 65 plus Social connection activities through HACC PYP and promote access to services for Filipinos 64 years and under.ONLINE Social support available Monday-Friday.

We provide quality aged care services for Russian Speaking Clients in the Russian languageCommonwealth Home Support Program in (Southern and Western Metro Area) : Domestic Assistance Transport ServicesAllied Health and Therapy services Social Work (bilingual Russian and English) Social Support Groups (Yarraville, Fitzroy, Ormond, Box Hill, Prahran) Other Programs and Services:Brokerage Services (Russian Speaking Care workers and Care Coordination) Community Visitors Scheme Palliative Care ancillary servicesBus trips and excursions.

Cheryl has worked in the health care industry for 30 plus years and is enthusiastic about the provision of care services.Cheryl is vision impaired and conducts her business in a way that ensures a level of care that she would be satisfied with for herself.A client-centred approach is extremely important at Help in the Home. We require our Carers hold a Certificate III in Aged Care (at a minimum). Police Checks, First Aid Certificates and CPR training qualifications are maintained and renewed as required and updated at least every three years. Our carers are client focused and are expected to provide choice and empowerment to our individual client's needs at all times.Policy and ProceduresCompliance with Occupational Health and Safety Regulation and the Privacy Act is of paramount significance at Help in the Home.   We are approved to provide Aged Care Packages through My Aged Care. We have commenced this program and it will be a major focus in the next 18 months. Help in the Home signs Service Level Agreements with Aged Care Providers to ensure all requirements and obligations relating to care are met.  Help in the Home has SAI Global Certification.
