Opportunity to maintain lifestyle is an important consideration of where we choose to spend the last & most important part of our life.
Holloway Aged Care Services is a 70-bed ageing in place facility that offers this lifestyle opportunity to our elderly residents no matter what their care requirements may be. We welcome residential care, dementia, palliative and respite care residents to our facility along with both concessional and bond options.
Located in a quiet cul-de-sac, within walking distance of the Milleara Shopping Centre; Holloway has been East Keilor’s best kept secret. However, with encouragement from the community we now wish to share our secret.
Holloway consists of five houses set within a beautiful garden setting and offers a warm friendly home-like atmosphere and environment. Resident independence and lifestyle choices are encouraged & supported by our warm, friendly & professional staff.
Holloway has a dedicated and innovative Lifestyle Coordinator along with supporting staff that are continually working with residents, families and friends to ensure that lifestyle choices are enhanced and maintained. Regular meetings with residents and families enable the lifestyle team to provide individual and group activities of interest to our residents.
Residents are encouraged to continue contact with their community connections where possible and they are enabled to do so through the use of a community supported bus. Wider community activities are celebrated within Holloway through special events and theme days and the inclusion of all residents in professional entertainment from the greater community.
Our philosophy of care encompasses the belief that residents come to Holloway to live their lives to the fullest & that although they may experience physical, emotional or psychological difficulties, with the support of dedicated staff they may still enjoy their chosen lifestyle.
Holloway maintains a strong community connection through its association with a number of Service Clubs (especially East Keilor Rotary and RSL Clubs), along with a very strong volunteer base.
