Montana Nursing Home is situated in Sydney’s picturesque Lower North Shore on a quiet suburban street in Mosman close to public transport and high street shops, eateries, and amenities. Family and friend visitors are welcome at any time. Our home offers various accommodation options and large, comfortable activity and lounge areas with access and views to our internal garden and communal area.   

Staying active and socialising is an important part of a healthy lifestyle, we believe it is never too late to make new friends and discover a new hobby. Our activity programs are designed by our lifestyle officers and physiotherapists to both promote movement and exercise, while others provide entertainment and the opportunity to socialise. At Montana, we run a varied monthly activity program with creative and therapeutic activities that include music therapy, bus outings, arts and games, movies, and theme days as well as individual attention to residents who are unable to join in with group activities We also celebrate birthdays, religious occasions and special days such as Mother’s Day. Friends and family are more than welcome to join in with any of our activities.

It’s our priority to ensure that you feel safe, secure, and at home. For your peace of mind, we provide 24-hour care by registered nurses who are supported by a dedicated team of personal carers. We pride ourselves on our multi-cultural approach to care within our community.

Your general practitioner can visit you at Montana, or you can choose to have your records transferred to one of our visiting general practitioners. Hall & Prior’s physiotherapist visits Montana regularly to support our residents’ care, and visits from other health professionals such as speech pathologists, dieticians, podiatrists, dentists, and opticians are arranged as required.

Enjoying a variety of delicious, nutritionally balanced meals is not only an important part of maintaining good health, it’s an important part of your day. Our kitchen team provides fresh meals that are prepared at our home and served straight to you. We consult with dieticians and speech pathologists to support our residents’ clinical care without compromising on taste. We offer a choice of hot and cold meals, cater to clinical dietary requirements, allergies, and cultural requirements, special requests to mark celebrations, and a special menu for a theme day each month.
