Overview

This is a Commonwealth Department of Health and Ageing funded initiative. Our program provides one-on-one volunteer visitors to residents of Commonwealth funded aged care facilities who are socially isolated and whose quality of life would be improved by friendship and companionship.

Our volunteers support socially isolated residents from Australian and cultural and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds. Our volunteers receive training to assist them perform their friendly visiting role professionally.
