South Stradbroke Island is a 1800 hectare conservation park just across from the pristine beaches of the Gold Coast. Offering one of the best surf spots on the regions, over 80km of walking tracks around the Island, wildlife on your door step and of course, what is commonly known as Couran Cove – where resort style island living is a dream that can become a reality.



The Bliss Community along are working to create a harmonious space for over 55’s to live a life of purpose and choice. We encourage our residents to volunteer within our community, be it fishing tours, 4WD tours, bush walks or collecting shells for seashells by the sea shore - there are many known health benefits to volunteering including a sense of fulfilment, can help relieve stress, improved self-esteem and confidence.

We have a general store with groceries and pre-prepared nutricious meals will be available to you as well an extensive range of activities including paddleboarding, photography walks, meditation, yoga, water aerobics and many more. 

Our staff are trained in advance first aid including the use of defibrillators which are kept on site. We also have regular visits from nurse practitioners, exercise physiologists, psychologists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists as well as various specialists and general practitioners.



We welcome our neighbours with open arms and are excited for the opportunity that island living can create in helping make a difference not just in our own lives but of the lives of those around us.
