ArtReach Collective provides Art Therapy and Art Mentor/Class programs to people with Disabilities, Mental Health Vulnerabilities and children. I am a qualified Mental Health Counsellor practising in Melbourne. Having over 10 years’ experience in the disability and mental health sector and over 15 years working as an artist in the creative arts field I have combined my two passions to empower people work through life’s challenges.
I have a commitment to providing the highest standard of quality care to individuals who are dealing with life’s struggles and mental health vulnerabilities. I draw on my creative background to implement Art Therapeutic techniques, through working with colour and form individuals can express feelings they may find challenging in a standard counselling session. This creative space allows individuals to freely explore expression through drawing mediums, clay, painting and collage to delve into deep emotions.
The Art Mentor/Classes focus on building the skills of the clients' artistic ability, developing technical skill levels and confidence using colour. Sessions are built around focusing on different artistic periods and artwork, appropriation and inspiration.
At ArtReach Collective I create a safe space to support clients in their creative journey of self discovery and managing their mental and emotional health. I facilitate one on one individual counselling and art therapy sessions to assist clients to thrive and grow. During these sessions I use a variety of materials where individuals can explore and choose the methods they are most comfortable with and find best to connect to whilst allowing their creative juices to flow!
