Milpara is a modern two-storey residential care home offering a welcoming and inviting atmosphere to 90 residents in spacious and airy open plan accommodation.
An innovative design provides six separate wings with between 15 and 16 bedrooms in each, with a range of accommodation options including private single rooms and secure memory support units with specialist dementia care.
Located in Rostrevor, Milpara is part of the local community with shops, community services and parks nearby.
Milpara features a balance of a warm, homely atmosphere, blended with a contemporary inner-city style from the bright and airy interior, private balconies and artistic flair, to the tranquil garden spaces.
Milpara actively promotes a Healthy Ageing approach, characterised by a particularly strong focus on creativity and the arts. Indeed, its arts group, led by a professional art lead, has nurtured some fine artists, whose works are displayed throughout the home.
