The government has released more Home Care Packages for older Australians wanting to stay independent. So now’s the time to look at choosing and using a trusted service provider. As always, Uniting is here to help.
If you've applied for and received your home care allocation package, here's what to do next.
Find out how Uniting can help you at every step: from applying for a government-funded Home Care Package, to organising services while you wait.
You have 56 days to choose a provider once you receive a letter confirming that you've been allocated a package. At this point, we'll work with you to develop a personalised plan.
Understand the types of services you can access depending on the level of package (1-4) you’re approved for.
