The village is set in a natural landscaped garden with mature native trees and water features. Currie Park includes a community room, gazebo, ornamental pond and barbecue areas that provide residents with an enticing setting for informal get-togethers and family gatherings.
For added peace of mind, we provide a 24-hour emergency call system and daily cottage checks by our caring staff ensures residents’ well being. Should a resident’s care needs change, there is the security of knowing they can transfer into our next level of care.
Currie Park provides many activities to enjoy both in and around the village. On-site parking is available.
LOCATION
Currie Park is a short drive, or a 20-minute walk to the Euroa town centre. Many residents have their own car, and car sharing is encouraged.
Our 20 independent living cottages consist of lounge/ dining room, kitchen, bedroom, laundry and bathroom, surrounded by beautifully maintained gardens and lawns.
All include French doors leading to their own private courtyard.
Home cooked meals can be obtained from the nearby assisted living complex.
SERVICED LIVING
The architecturally designed apartment complex features bright and cheerful communal dining and lounge room facilities, eight separate tastefully appointed apartments, each with its own entrance, private en-suite, built-in-robes and kitchenette.
These serviced apartments are ideal for residents who still live independently, but need domestic support and the convenience of daily, prepared meals.
This personalised service allows our residents to remain living in these homes for as long as they are able, and until they require more specialised care at our Liscombe House aged care facility.
The additional services available at Currie Park include:
Daily “I am Well” monitoring system and personal alarm.
Lunch is available in the dining room.
• Recreational and social activities organised by the Residents’ Activities Committee.
Residents can arrange at their own expense:
• Telephone and internet connections to their room.
• Personal, medical and cosmetic requirements can be ordered from the pharmacy.
• Newspapers or magazines can be ordered and delivered from the local newsagent.
The Association has an 81-place residential care facility offering both high and low care for residents from our four villages at Leith Park in St Helena. Residents of the Independent Living Units have priority for transfer to these residential care facilities.
ACTIVITIES
Currie Park residents are encouraged to join committees and be active participants. They have a wide range of activities to choose from. There is a regular walking group, exercises classes, movie afternoon and card playing groups and residents are also keen gardeners, tending the vegetable plot regularly.
